Musse is going to just pause and watch him try to do this for a little bit.

[he doesn't notice her presence, which means she is treated to a nice show of Akira making a made dash for the dining area entrance when he thinks no one is watching--]

[-- and then being immediately ushered out by the diligent staff, who politely inform him that he must return with a partner]

As he's ushered out by the staff, Musse comes sweeping in, scooping Akira up by the arm, their arms linked at the elbow. ]

Pardon me--he is my partner for dinner. If you don't mind...?

[does a double-take when he feels that arm linking into his, and the staff member hesitates before bowing, stepping aside, and wishing them both a pleasant meal]
